Born in Tampa, Florida, Gene received his education at Hillsborough Community College and Eckerd College majoring in Business Administration. As a 29 year insurance professional, he began his career with Allstate Insurance Company and earned progressively responsible roles as Director & Officer levels with the following companies: Crum & Forster, Bankers Insurance Group and CNA Insurance Companies.

Born in Warren Ohio, Served in U S Army with honorable discharge in 1971. Lou received his education at Louisiana State University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He began his career with Allstate Insurance in 1982, and started his own insurance Allstate agency in 1985, and continued the agency until 2005.
